
NON-COMPETITIVE GAMES AND TRAINING ROUTINES
In our post-club questionnaire, the children often cite the running games as their favorite part for club. The games sometimes incorporate reading and writing, are always fun, and allow for individual levels of achievement. All of the games can be adapted for children of different ages and who are at various levels of development.
Week 1: Step-Slide Observe how children move and follow directions on first day of club.
Week 2: Dogs and Ducks An engaging game of tag.
Week 3: Squirrels, Chipmunks, and Acorns A running "acorn" hunt.

Week 5: Butterfly Training Sprint, jog, and walk on a butterfly course.
Week 6: Rainbow Spelling Run to spell | Game Worksheet Spelling blank
Week 7: Yellow Jello Relay Team up to run, spell, and rhyme. | Writing Blank
Week 8: Triangle Training Run, Jog, Walk, Sing, and more!
Week 9: Double Century Collect 200 unifix cubes. Stack in groups of 10 and then build a "double century" of cubes.
Week 10: Leap, Jump, and Hurdle Make a "Box-stacle" Course.
